چکیده
Wheat powdery mildew, caused by Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici (Bgt), is a widespread airborne fungal disease which seriously threatens wheat production worldwide. Resistance to the can be lost quickly due limited number of resistance genes in varieties and high variation mildew pathogen. Therefore, it critical explore new breed durable resistant varieties. The objectives this study were evaluate at seedling adult stages, detect presence Pm 332 germplasms from an international collection using molecular markers. It was determined that only seven, four, two accessions Bgt races E09, E15, A13, respectively. All tested fully susceptible race A44 stage. A total 34 plant Molecular tests known showed 107 did not contain any genes. Additionally, 119 found carry Pm38, 113 may have carried Pm8, 27 Pm21, 22 Pm60, 16 Pm24, Pm41, 5 Pm5e, 2 Pm46, Pm2a detected. By characterizing provides sources for expanding genetic diversity developing with mildew.

Powdery mildew resistance genes in wheat: verification of STS markers.
Five accessions of Aegilops speltoides and 67 European wheat cultivars (winter and spring) originating from the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, United Kingdom, and 4 non-European wheat cultivars from Brazil and the USA were examined with molecular Sequence Tagged Site (STS) markers for resistance genes to powdery mildew: Pm 1, Pm 2, Pm 3 and Pm 13. All markers gave clear, rep...

Wheat powdery mildew caused by fungal pathogen Blumeria graminis f.sp. tritici is a destructive wheat disease, occurring in regions with cool and humid climates. In order to investigate the changes in pathogenicity of the disease and to identify the effective genetic source of resistance, a total of 29 wheat genotypes with different resistance major genes (Pm) were studied in two hotspots of Go...
متن کاملIdentification and evaluation of resistance to powdery mildew and yellow rust in a wheat mapping population
Deployment of cultivars with genetic resistance is an effective approach to control the diseases of powdery mildew (PM) and yellow rust (YR). Chinese wheat cultivar XK0106 exhibits high levels of resistance to both diseases, while cultivar E07901 has partial, adult plant resistance (APR). The aim of this study was to map resistance loci derived from the two cultivars and analyze their effects a...

| 5 Abstract Developing high yielding and high quality varieties with broad-spectrum and durable disease resistance is the ultimate goal of crop breeding. Resistance (R) genes encoding proteins with nucleotide-binding site (NBS) and leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domains provide high levels of resistance, but this type of R genes usually only confers resistance to a subset of pathogen races. In addi...
متن کاملAllelic series of four powdery mildew resistance genes at the Pm3 locus in hexaploid bread wheat.
At the Pm3 locus in hexaploid wheat (Triticum aestivum), 10 alleles conferring race-specific resistance to powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici) are known. A cluster of genes encoding coiled-coil-nucleotide-binding site-leucine-rich repeat proteins spans the Pm3 locus on wheat chromosome 1A, and one member of this gene family has recently been identified as the Pm3b resistance gene....
